We respect every person's right to privacy and aim to comply with the requirements of the POPI Act, which regulates the manner in which we collect, process, store, share and destroy any personal information you provide to us.

Collection of personal information

We collect personal information in order to communicate with you telephonically, via our website or by email, so that we may:

Respond to any query or comment received from you.
Inform you of new offers.
Process, validate and verify information and requests for the supply of information and/or services.
Use it for the purposes for which you specifically provided the information.
Generally improve your experience on our website.
02 · Processing

Processing and sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We will only share it:

With service providers that run parts of our service for us, and only so that they can provide that service. These include our website hosting provider, our email provider, which delivers the messages you send through our contact forms, and the technology providers behind our voice assistant (see section 03).
In order to comply with applicable law or with a legal process served on our company.
In order to protect and defend the rights or property of our company.

Some of our service providers process information outside South Africa, including in the United States. We only use providers that are bound by agreements to keep your information confidential and secure, and to use it only for the service they provide to us. A list of these providers is available on request.

03 · Voice assistant

Our voice assistant

Our website offers an AI voice assistant that you can talk to through your browser. Using it is entirely optional. When you start a conversation with it:

You are speaking to an automated assistant, not a person.
We process your voice and anything you tell the assistant, such as your name or contact details, together with basic technical information such as your browser type and IP address.
We use this to answer your questions, to pass your enquiry to the right team when you ask us to, and to improve the quality of the assistant.
The conversation is processed by our voice AI technology providers, some of them outside South Africa, under the safeguards described in section 02.
The assistant can make mistakes. Anything important, such as a quote or contract terms, will be confirmed by our team in writing.
Please do not share sensitive information such as banking details, ID numbers or passwords with the assistant.
You can end the conversation at any time.
04 · Cookies

Website cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and you do not need an account to use it.
When you use the voice assistant, its technology provider may store small technical items in your browser for the duration of the conversation.
If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this section first.
05 · Security

Security measures

We will:

Treat your personal information as strictly confidential.
Take appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your personal information secure and protected against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage, alteration, disclosure or access.
Promptly notify you if we become aware of any unauthorised use, disclosure or processing of your personal information.
Provide you with reasonable evidence of our compliance with our obligations under this policy on reasonable request.
Not retain your personal information longer than the period for which it was originally required, unless we are required by law to do so, or you consent to us retaining it for a longer period.

Although we take the aforementioned precautions in protecting your personal information, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage, howsoever arising, suffered as a result of the disclosure of such information if outside our reasonable control.
